Description
Tart, lemony, juicy and extra crisp American classic with rock hard bite. Flesh is always snowy white and the darker the skin the more tart the taste. Granny Smiths are an excellent all-purpose apple – probably the best pie apple of all. Tartness mellows a bit when cooked but texture remains nice and firm.
